Rodolphe Haimann (* 1960)

was born 1960 in Arras, France. He studied music theory and art history in Göttingen and piano (with Agathe Warnek), violin (with Doris Spemann), song (with Burkhardt Schaeffer) and composition (with F.K. Wanek) at the Peter Cornelius Music College in Mainz. After that he continued at the California State U in Fresno, where he studied piano with Philip Lorenz and composition with Jack Fortner. Haimann performed many concerts in Germany and abroad, as soloist, as accompanist and as part of a piano duo with Thomas Noichl. Since 1991 Rodolphe Haimann teaches music at the Camerloher music high school in Freising near Munich. He teaches intermittently at the Marktoberdorf music academy and is member of EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association).

Er studierte Musikwissenschaft und Kunstgeschichte in Göttingen und danach Klavier (bei Agathe Wanek), Violine (bei Doris Spemann), Liedgestaltung (bei Burkhardt Schaeffer) und Komposition (bei Friedrich K. Wanek) am Peter-Cornelius-Konservatorium in Mainz. Es folgte ein Mastersstudium an der California-State-University in Fresno (USA) in Klavier (bei Philip Lorenz) und Komposition (bei Jack Fortner). Zahlreiche Konzerte als Solist, Liedbegleiter und im Klavier-Duo mit Thomas Noichl im In- und Ausland. Seit 1991 ist Rodolphe Haimann Lehrbeauftragter am Camerloher-Gymnasium in Freising (Musisches Gymnasium). Er ist Gastdozent an der Musikakademie Marktobersdorf und Mitglied der EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association).
